Lilly Drumeva to present four concerts, new projects and a Christmas album!

The Bulgarian country singer, musician and journalist will delight her fans with her three concerts in November and a promotion for her Christmas album in December. 

The past summer she created a new project together with Deyan Pavlov, the virtuoso pianist. The formation was named LiDo. Their repertoire includes pop and rock classics, country, and evergreens from the 60s and 70s. The duo will give two concerts in November. The first one is on November 8^th at Gallery “ARTUR”, Sofia, starting at 19:00h, and the second one is on November 13^th at the Schroedinger Jazz Bar starting at 20:00h.

In June this year Lilly Drumeva also formed a new trio with famous jazz guitarist Yasen Vasilev and his son, Andrey Vasilev. The formation is giving a concert on November 20^th at the Art Club Sofia starting at 19:30h. The program includes popular jazz and swing standards, as well as a lot of country and blues – performed on two acoustic guitars and sung.

The culmination in the fall-winter season will undoubtedly be the Christmas album of country band Lilly of the West, which Lilly Drumeva founded in the distant 1996. In July of this year the Bulgarian country musicians released a Christmas collection which contains ten famous Christmas hits filled with the sounds of piano, slide-guitar, acoustic guitar and double bass in new and interesting original arrangements.

The album, Christmas with Lilly of the West, comes with a booklet of sheet music – piano, guitar and lyrics arranged by Mihail Shishkov and Nikolay Temniskov. 

The CD and book will be showcased on December 1^st at 19:00h at the Art Club Sofia, and all guests can enjoy a complimentary glass of mulled wine.

In August Lilly Drumeva created a new playlist as well, which can be found on her YouTube channel and features cover versions of popular hits from the distant past.

Lilly Drumeva-O’Reilly is a singer, songwriter and creator and front musician of country band Lilly of the West. She is also a music producer, publisher and arranger, having created 13 studio albums. In addition, she has 20 years of experience as a journalist for the BBC, BNR and Darik Radio. Her country music specialization was conducted in the USA under the Fulbright program. She is author of a book as well, In The Mood With Lilly – 50 Music Themes, and she organizes the international Sofia Singer Songwriter Fest.
